Overview: While celebrating their mother's impromptu visit to Australia, the reunion is short lived as Zara learns of her mother's plans to take her younger sister back to Somalia to have her circumcised. Needing to flee the family home, Zara reaches out to Maya, an old friend from the same community. Despite aiding in the escape, Maya ultimately betrays Zara, bringing the sisters back home to face the consequences alone.
